The charismatic musician from Oldenburg is known to many folk fans as the front man of the bands “Off Limits” and “Pangea”. The program of his concerts consists of the catchy melodies of his own songs, Celtic and Pagan Folk as well as some selected cover songs. Sometimes fast-paced and rousing, sometimes tender and virtuoso – with his very own musical style, the soulful singer easily reaches people’s hearts.

The Loopstation - like a movie for the crowd:

Through the skilful use of a small device at his feet, the „Loopstation“ (known from Ed Sheeran and Tash Sultana, among others), various instruments quickly merge into complex arrangements. In addition to his voice and his 12-string guitar, he also uses unusual instruments such as didgeridoo, bones, Irish flutes, and darbuka (Arabian drum) and some more. The viewers then experience up close how a song is created. Marcus also likes to involve the audience spontaneously, e.g. as a “background choir”.
